Convert a BS date to AD

Do not convert a Bikram Sambat date by subtracting 56 or 57 from the year. New Year is in mid-April. SajiloTools uses a month-length table for BS 2000–2100.

Why year minus 56 is wrong

Bikram Sambat New Year (1 Baisakh) falls in mid-April, not on 1 January. Subtracting 56 or 57 from the year does not tell you the day.

SajiloTools looks up a checked month-length table. It does not invent the date from a year offset. The same page converts AD back to BS.

What the table covers

The table covers Bikram Sambat 2000 through 2100. One published check is 1 Baisakh 2083 = 14 April 2026.

The result is a civil date and a weekday. It is not a tithi, and it is not a festival calendar.
